Maxim Honda Yamaha History

Maxim, formerly Plano Honda, has been in continuous operation since 1983 and has consistently been one of the top metric motorcycle dealers in the United States. Maxim is even bigger and better combining with Central Yamaha in 2013 to become Maxim Honda Yamaha.

There is so much to see now that Maxim Honda is now Maxim Honda Yamaha. For all our Central Yamaha customers the only thing that's changed is the location. All the great people you know from Central Yamaha are here at Maxim. In addition, we have one of the best-stocked gear and accessory parts departments in all of North Texas. For all our Maxim Honda customers, we just doubled the inventory.

Our motorcycle superstore, located in Allen, Texas, carries a full line of Honda, CFMoto, Hisun Motors, Kayo, Yamaha or Zero™, Yamaha, CFMOTO, Hisun, and Zero Motorcycles. Those brands include ATVs for sale, side by sides, motorcycles, and scooters. For the young at heart, we also carry Traxxas R/C products and Freestyle Scooters. And, we also have a great selection of used powersports vehicles for sale too.

Being ranked the #1 Metric Dealership in the state of Texas for 2005 and 2008 by Ride Texas Magazine readers is an accomplishment we are all very proud of.   If you have never joined us for a group ride you are missing out. We meet at Maxim Honda Yamaha and ride through the back roads of North Texas stopping for lunch (or breakfast depending on the season) and then all go our separate ways. The rides are made more interesting by giving out ride tickets to all who participate. Keep the tickets and at the end of the year we throw them into the hopper and draw for valuable prizes.
